Alata soap the way I know it is made from dry cocoa pod(minus the seeds) and palm /kennel oil.There are no variations.It stinks in its original state so to get round this by flaking any scented soap of your choice (not medicated ones) and there are so many of them.You then blend (mix) the two together to give it some scent.Alata soap is just alata soap and original.You can use it in the shower, wash clothes,apply it on some common skin ailments.Some women I know use it to bleach(lighten their skin)So there you have it; the almighty ALATA soup.
